Internship

School internship

School internships are possible with us in development, in materials management with purchasing and logistics, and in production and manufacturing. We generally receive more applications from pupils than we have places. Apply early, as soon as you can narrow down the period. In the interview we ask about your interests and preferences and plan your time with us accordingly.

The responsible departments are Mechanical Development, Electrical & Electronic Development, Software Development, Materials Management, Mechanical Manufacturing, Electromechanical Production and System Integration.

Pre-study internship

Certain technical degree programs require a pre-study internship before you can enroll. You will find the requirements directly at your educational institution. We make sure that you meet the required criteria with us and gain practical experience at the same time. Please send us the requirements together with your application documents so that we can check what is feasible.

The responsible areas are Mechanical Manufacturing and Electromechanical Production.

Mandatory and engineering internship

You can complete a mandatory internship required by your degree program with us. Beyond meeting the criteria set by your educational institution, we want to give you further opportunities to put your theoretical knowledge into practice. Mandatory internships mainly run in the development departments. On request you move temporarily into a production area and see directly what becomes of your development work.

The responsible areas are Mechanical Development, Electrical & Electronic Development and Software Development.

Working student role and thesis

Hardware and software development

Development offers a range of interesting working student tasks, and we generally look for support in hardware and software development. You help with the day-to-day business, take on tasks on your own responsibility and contribute your knowledge to the further development of the respective unit.

You can write your thesis with us in software development, electronics development and mechanical development. Get in touch at any time, we keep a number of interesting topics on hand that we do not always publish.

Procurement

Our purchasing team offers several ways to contribute your own knowledge and gain experience. Procurement covers a broad spectrum and is organized into several material groups. As a working student you support the various procurement phases and run small projects of your own, with support from the department management and the team.

For a thesis in procurement, get in touch at any time. Based on your interests we assess where in purchasing you can put your theoretical knowledge into practice.

Company organization

Alongside the departments that work directly on products and projects, there are further areas of the company with theses and interesting tasks for a working student role. If you see yourself in organizational development, accounting, IT or Human Relations, get in touch.

Apprenticeship

Electronics technician for devices and systems

You assemble our various simulation devices. The quality of our devices is very high, and for pilots there is almost no difference from the original equipment. You use mechanical and electromechanical components to build the assemblies, check your work with interim tests, load the firmware and support the final test. During the apprenticeship you also gain insight into other development and manufacturing departments.

The responsible area is Electromechanical Production.

Precision mechanic, mechanical engineering

You learn the skills to manufacture the precision parts for our simulation devices. You write the programs for the computer-controlled machine tools, plan the work sequences precisely and set up the machines. Using technical drawings you check whether the specified dimensional tolerances are met. You see the result of your work in the finished simulation device and can try it out.

The responsible area is Mechanical Manufacturing.

IT specialist, system integration

Company IT is a key pillar of REISER's success. In the IT team you apply the theoretical basics from vocational school and plan, install and operate IT systems. You select hardware and software components, build systems, connect them and put them into service. You also work in first-level support.

The responsible area is the IT team in administration.

IT specialist, application development

Software applications have become steadily more important in recent years and are becoming a substantial part of our product portfolio. Based on internal requirements and customer needs, a wide range of customer-oriented software solutions is created, tested and maintained. A large variety of models is developed above all in helicopter and aircraft avionics and dynamics.

The responsible area is Software Development.

Office management clerk

You carry out many different organizational and commercial administrative tasks and gain experience in several teams, for example in purchasing, financial accounting, sales or human resources. You work in the day-to-day business and take on small special projects.

The responsible area is Operations.

Dual study program

Business Administration, Supply Chain Management

You gain deep insight into materials management and see how strategic and operational purchasing and logistics work and how the internal material flow functions. Alongside the day-to-day business you take on your own projects, whose findings feed straight back into daily operations.

6 semesters, start 1 October, degree Bachelor of Science, 20 hours per week at the university and 20 hours in the company, Internationale Berufsakademie (iba) Munich, department Materials Management.

Mechanical Engineering

You get to know above all the Mechanical Development, Electrical & Electronic Development and Projects & Systems Engineering departments and are actively involved in projects, day-to-day business and special tasks. The work ranges from tricky designs for our simulators and their technical implementation to preparing a project milestone with our customers.

7 semesters, start 1 October, degree Bachelor of Arts, study at the university during the semester, practical phases in the semester breaks and in the practical semester, Hochschule München, department Mechanical Development.

Computer Science and Digital Engineering

You work in the Software Development area and gain insight into a range of task areas, from IT project infrastructure through the design of software solutions to the software-side commissioning of our simulators. Responsible tasks involve you actively.

7 semesters, start 1 October, degree Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering, 20 hours per week at the university and 20 hours in the company, Internationale Hochschule (IU) Munich, department Software Development.

Common questions from young applicants

Can I also send a speculative application?

You are welcome to send us a speculative application. Simply use our application form.

How much lead time do I need before starting with you?

That depends on the position. For a working student role we need around four to six weeks of lead time. You can begin a thesis within two to three weeks, the bigger hurdle is usually the registration at your educational institution. Internship places are in high demand and fill up quickly, so apply at least twelve weeks before a possible start. For a holiday job, get in touch around six weeks before the holidays begin.

How can I apply and what information do you need?

You can send us your application documents by post, by email or as an audio or video application. What matters to us is your preferred start date, your interests and how best to reach you.

Which files can I upload and what do I need to keep in mind?

You can upload all common file types, including video and audio files. PDF, DOC, DOCX, PNG, JPG, MP3 and MP4 are supported. Files may be up to 35 MB in size.

How can I make sure my documents have arrived?

You receive a confirmation from us by email. If you apply by post, we get back to you using the contact details you provided.

What can I earn at REISER?

Your gross monthly pay depends on how many hours you work with us. Depending on your experience and knowledge and on the area of work, the hourly rate is between 12 and 18 euros. For a thesis we pay 650 euros per month at bachelor level and 1,100 euros per month at master level. Depending on the results of your work, a performance bonus of up to 1,000 euros is added after submission.
