Application process and FAQs

Everything about your application in one place.

Do you have questions about your application and our selection process? No problem. Here you find our application process step by step and answers to the most common questions.

Application process

Below you get an insight into our application process, from the application to contract acceptance.

1

Application received

We receive your application through various channels: form, email, job portals or social media.

2

Review of your documents

The HR team gets to know you through your documents and coordinates with the specialist departments. If we have questions, we come straight to you.
This takes up to 3 weeks.

3

First meeting

If the first impression fits, we get to know each other better, by phone, by video call or in person.

4

Second meeting

We shape the second meeting individually. You get a full picture of us as an employer, of the team and the working environment, and we clear up all open questions.

5

Offer and contract

If it works for both sides, we explain the basics of our cooperation. You receive the contract documents digitally where possible.

6

Contract accepted

You are convinced and send us the signed contract. A warm welcome to the cockpit at REISER!

FAQ

Here you find answers to the most common questions about applying and the selection process. Your question is not among them? Get in touch with the HR team directly.

How are my application documents reviewed and how long does it take?

+

Your documents are first reviewed by the HR team and then passed on to the relevant specialist department. The evaluation can take up to 3 weeks.

Is there a chance to get a taste of the tasks in the position?

+

If we both leave the first interview with a good feeling, you experience us up close in the second meeting: you get to know the team, the working environment and the main tasks.

How can I apply and what information do you need from me?

+

You can send us your documents by email or as an audio or video application; applications through job portals or social media reach us as well. What matters is that we learn enough about your CV, your qualifications and your experience. A cover letter or certificates and references are a welcome addition.

How can I make sure that my documents have reached you?

+

After sending them through our career pages you receive a confirmation directly on the page. For applications by email or another route, we get back to you promptly, in writing or by phone.

How do I find out the status of my application?

+

If you want an update on the status or on the next steps, contact the HR team directly. You find the contact details at the bottom of the page.

Can I also send a speculative application?

+

Gladly. We welcome your application even without reference to a specific position, by email or through our contact form.

Can I apply for several positions?

+

Of course. We prefer one application in which you point to the different positions that interest you. Several separate applications are no problem either.

Which files can I upload and what should I keep in mind?

+

You can upload all common file types, including video and audio: PDF, Doc, Docx, PNG, JPG, Mp3, Mp4. Each file can be up to 35 MB.

How long is my data stored and how is it protected?

+

You find all the details in our data privacy policy covering the application process.

Who helps me if I get stuck?

+

Then we look forward to hearing from you. You find the contact details at the bottom of the page or in the overview of contacts from the HR team.

I have questions about apprenticeships, internships, holiday jobs, working student roles or theses. Where can I ask?

+

We have set up a separate FAQ section for that. If it does not answer everything, or if you prefer direct contact, simply get in touch with us.

How does REISER handle personnel development?

+

We focus on individual development. Targeted training courses build or extend knowledge in a specific area; on top of that we take up personal development wishes and define clear paths with individual development plans. Cross-departmental offerings broaden the view, and financial support for advanced qualifications (for example a degree or a technician qualification) is possible case by case.

Is mobile working (home office) possible?

+

In principle yes, temporarily from home or from another location, and the important part is coordinating it with us. It is not (always) possible in every area, in production for example. Where it works, we are happy to give that flexibility.

How are working hours organized?

+

We work with full flexibility, without core hours and with actively used flextime. Full time means 40 hours per week, flexible from Monday to Friday. We are happy to discuss other weekly hours. Overtime can be paid out or taken as time off.

Who pays for work equipment and, where needed, work clothing?

+

You get the necessary equipment and work clothing from us, of course. We take individual needs into account.

What about pay and compensation?

+

To pay in line with the market, we review our salary bands regularly, and everyone can see them internally. On top of the base pay come voluntary and performance-related benefits.

Which benefits do I get at REISER?

+

Besides the growth opportunities and the way we work, these include 30 days of annual leave, top work equipment, performance-related subsidies and additional insurance, health support and personal development. We keep extending our offering.
