Marcel shared with us in a piece what his thoughts about his time with us look like.
My farewell to Reiser
For almost two years I worked at Reiser as a junior project manager, before I was able to make my dream of flying come true.
I look back on an incredibly good and instructive time at Reiser that shaped me personally and was immensely valuable for my development. With Reiser’s exciting and demanding product portfolio, anyone with a technical interest is offered an extremely attractive and stimulating place to work. As a junior project manager and career starter I had the chance to contribute from day one and to help shape projects. Right from the start I was assigned a mentor from among the most experienced colleagues, who always encouraged and supported me. I could turn to him and to my managers with questions at any time. I was also given the opportunity to take on responsibility early and to drive projects forward on my own, which in my view contributed a great deal to a correspondingly steep learning curve. For me it was the perfect working environment, one in which I could fully develop and put my abilities to good use.
Feeling comfortable at work has always been important to me. Working with the great colleagues and managers and the family-like way people treat each other are, in my opinion, huge advantages of Reiser. Everyone here pulls in the same direction, and if things do not go to plan for once, everyone is ready to go the extra mile to reach the shared goal.
Even though I have now left Reiser to fulfil my dream of flying, what remains for me is the memory of this extraordinary time and of the great colleagues at this unique company, a time that shaped me and moved me forward.
For that I would like to say thank you very much once again. For me it was definitely not a goodbye, and I am already looking forward to seeing everyone again.
All the best and see you soon.
Thank you, Marcel. We wish you happy landings and look forward to seeing you again.
