I am already looking forward to finally holding my bachelor’s certificate in my hands. But one small thing is still missing for that achievement: my bachelor’s thesis.
Fortunately it was already clear to me that I wanted to write my thesis in cooperation with a company. But which one? And isn’t the path there complicated?
While looking for a suitable topic and a matching company, I quickly came across Reiser. Out of a whole range of interesting research topics I immediately identified with one, and I sent my application documents to the HR department by email, quickly and without fuss.
After a week I already received a call to arrange an interview. That same week I joined a phone conference with the people responsible in the afternoon. Rather than being peppered with awkward questions throughout, I was given the chance to present myself and my background. The topic was also explained to me in detail and my first open questions could be discussed. Reiser’s expectations of me were communicated quite openly as well.
Unfortunately I could not see the people I was talking to during the call, but at my own request I was given the chance to get an impression of the company on site a few days later, which even gave me a first look behind the scenes. With Reiser’s acceptance I can now write my thesis with Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH, the company of my choice, and take a final step towards my big goal.
And the best part: my thesis will not end up in a drawer, but will ideally add value for the company. The responsibility for that lies entirely with me.
