At our various stations the girls of Girls’ Day 2023 gained different insights into the work of a technology company. From soldering to simple programming of a circuit board and a flight in a simulator with VR technology, the programme was exciting and varied. The guiding principle was important throughout: hands on and do it yourself instead of listening.
As a lasting memento, every young woman took home the lamp she had programmed, laser-cut and assembled herself.
We thank everyone involved, both at Reiser and among the students, for a successful and well-used day, and we firmly believe that we were able to inspire one or two of them to take up a technical profession. We look forward to seeing them again, for example for an internship, to give deeper insights into our fascinating work.
