Life-Saving Drones: Sponsoring HORYZN

June 13, 2023 Approx. 1 min read Behind the Scenes

On average, patients suffering a sudden cardiac arrest have to wait 11 minutes before help arrives with an ambulance and the defibrillator they need. Minutes on which lives depend. What if these patients could receive life-saving help after just five minutes?

Together with the student initiative HORYZN at TUM we are taking on that question. As main sponsor and supporter of the initiative, we want to help the students design and deliver Germany’s first eVTOL defibrillator transport.

Our support goes far beyond funding. At joint events we want to actively encourage exchange and innovation, enable mutual learning and provide quick, practical answers to questions.

We look forward to working with the project team and to many shared innovations and developments.
