The aim of the “Stadtradeln” competition is to motivate as many people as possible in the participating municipalities to cycle. The goal is to contribute to protecting the environment and, by recording the distances cycled, to have a positive influence on cycling infrastructure planning.
As our colleagues’ photos show, the time on the bike was used in very different ways. For some the focus was on family, for others on the sport itself. But they all had one thing in common: fresh air, fun and plenty of exercise.
At the award ceremony, held on 23 July 2021 in the garden of the town hall in Berg, we were recognized for our second place out of 14 teams in the municipality of Berg and named “newcomer of the year”. Our colleague Andrea Ehrl also achieved the best individual result in the municipality: she cycled a total of 1,135.70 km. Congratulations on that great achievement.
We are delighted with our successful participation in the Stadtradeln project and thank the organizers of the initiative as well as our team, with whom we were able to achieve such a great result.
