Flight simulators have been an important element of pilot training and continuing education for many decades. Along with advances in technology, the capabilities of simulators have grown from the simplest tools for learning basic skills all the way to the full-flight simulator (FFS) for training complex scenarios.

Always giving it everything. That is true of our colleagues not just in their daily work, but also at this year's Xletix Challenge.

While looking for a suitable topic and a matching company, I quickly came across Reiser. Out of a whole range of interesting research topics I immediately identified with one, and I sent my application documents to the HR department by email, quickly and without fuss.

What does an engineer at RST do? To conclude our three-part video series and the insights into two technical fields so far, we now present the role at RST where all the threads of a project come together: the project manager.

What does an engineer at RST do? Our company employs many different professional groups with sometimes very different areas of focus. Some of our colleagues are engineers, but the field of engineering is broad and cannot be lumped together.

In the fourth and final video about onboarding, Philipp Streicher, a new member of the purchasing team, tells us about getting to know the electrical and electronics engineering department internally. He particularly enjoyed the introduction to the NVG (night vision goggle) lab there.

Philipp Streicher has been part of our purchasing team for a few weeks now. In the third part of the video series about his onboarding he talks about his internal internship in our electromechanical production and about the value the insights he gained there have for his future work.

Philipp Streicher has been part of purchasing since February. In the second video he gives us insights into being onboarded into the work of the transport team. After only a short time our new colleague was able to give his team active support with the tasks at hand.

More and more, we and our children are leaving the real world behind. The technological leaps of the recent past have opened up entirely new fields of application. Current trends show that the virtual world, in whatever form, will influence our lives even more in future.
